As part of Lakeview’s commitment “to strive for excellence in all that we do,” Lakeview Mental Health Services, Inc. has established a Corporate Compliance Program in order to promote and assure regulatory compliance and high standards of ethical conduct by our employees, contractors and volunteers in all of the operations of our organization.

 

Components of the Corporate Compliance Program:

  • Establish standards and expectations for ethical conduct and behavior by staff with clients and others, along with disciplinary guidelines for violations of these standards.
  • Assure that all employees are trained in the regulatory knowledge necessary for them to adhere to all regulatory laws and standards.
  • Establish a systematic internal auditing plan to assure regulatory compliance is maintained and that any areas of risk are addressed.
  • Establish the requirement for employees to report any suspicion or discovery of compliance concerns and a mechanism to allow for anonymous reporting.
  • Establish a process of investigation and response to all reports of non-compliance with ethical standards and the code of conduct.
  • Establish an initial orientation to the Compliance Program, along with annual re-training in the Ethical Standards and Code of Conduct.
  • Appoint a Compliance Officer and Committee to oversee and direct the Compliance Program.
  • Conduct criminal background checks on all staff and volunteers with significant consumer contact.
